Privacy Policy — Kharrat

What we collect

• No accounts, no sign-in. Your name and avatar are stored on your device only.
• We collect anonymous usage events (room created, player joined, game finished, invite shared) to measure how the game performs. They contain no names or identifying information.
• If the app hits an error or crashes, it sends a crash report to Sentry, the service we use to fix bugs. A report holds the error, where in the code it happened, the device model, and the OS and app versions. It holds no names, no answers and no device identifier.
• Your in-round answers are shown only to the players in your room, whether they are next to you or joining from elsewhere, and we never store them.
• If you join a public room, the other players may be strangers. They see your name and your answers. There is no chat and no private messaging. See our content and reporting policy.
• Your device keeps a random game id so you can get back to your seat if you leave the app by accident. This id is shared with the players in your room.
• If you host a public room, we keep a listing of it on our server so players can find it: the room code, player count, game stage, topic, when it was opened and last active, a scrambled key that proves you are the host, and your device's random game id (so players who blocked you are not sent to your room). The listing is deleted when you close the room. If the app closes without ending it, the listing is deleted automatically once it has been inactive for over an hour, as soon as anyone has a public room open.
• Kharrat+ is sold through Apple's In-App Purchase. Apple handles the payment; we never see your card or your Apple account. We use RevenueCat to check purchases with Apple and restore them on a new phone: on iPhone and iPad the app connects to it when it opens, it gives your device a random id that is not tied to your name or email, and it keeps your Kharrat purchase history under that id. What we do not collect

• No phone numbers, emails, location, or contacts.
• We never sell or share data with third parties for marketing.
